I found some filters for sale which fit these benchtop compost bins. They are on http://www.trademe.co.nz. Search for compost ecology odour and they should pop up.

I have an ecology compost bin (love it!) and have been searching for replacement filters. Have come across this website:

They have replacement filters although they are not Ecology brand so not sure which one, if any, fit the ecology bin…

HI Julie,
I’ve just found the whole range of Ecology on this site. Maybe you could enquire there.
You may be able to get the filters in sheet form through a hardware store like Bunnings or Mitre 10 etc. It could be the same as the filters they use for air conditioners etc. You could even try somewhere like that.

I emailed Briscoes to enquire about the replacement filters and did NOT get a reply so as I was going to be in New Zealand for a cruise I decided to take a trip to one of their stores. We made a two hour round trip from Auckland to the Albany Mega Centre store only to be told by the first staff member that she had never heard of the composter and they definately did not stock them. I persisted and found another staff member who found the right department for me. Then the staff member in that area told me that she had sold a compost bin at sometime but didn’t even know they had replacement filters.
She suggested I contact their head office and I explained that I was from Qld Australia and I had already emailed them but had no response. She suggested I phone them instead. So I spent two hours out of our day in port and came home without a filter. I am at a loss.

Hello all, I happened upon this website looking for the ecology products after buying a few at a speciality store near my home in NSW. Australia. The compost bin has been one of my favourites. I have found a link to a few more products and I hope this helps.

I’ve done a big search, too, for the Ecology Rona range and have noticed they are also available in Australia. Perhaps your best bet would be to get in touch with the store (Briscoes) where I got this composter from.
